Kids often start to get interested in making money around 15 or 16 years old. However finding jobs for 15 year olds is a whole lot harder than it is for finding work for kids that are 16.
The reason for this is that the government puts more restrictions on young kids than they do on older kids. Once you are 16 you are allowed to do most jobs that aren’t dangerous and the hours you can work are not restricted. But 15 year olds and anyone younger can’t work many hours during the school year and there are many jobs they are not allowed to do by law.
For this reason, most employers shy away from hiring young teens because it is just too much hassle for them. Why bother dealing with all the extra restrictions when they can just hire older workers that can work all hours.

How is a Gifted Child Taught?

When I watch the TV, I get amazed by this gifted child on paid advertisements. One of the kids that caught my attention was a little girl named Shaira who was a very fluent English speaker at the age of one and a half year!
Even though I haven’t actually met a gifted child in person, I was still curious on how they will be taught at school. I was wondering how will their parents put him in a school where his intelligence is above those of his classmates.

The Unique Side Of Learning Historical Events

Teaching is my passion and I have been working on a private school who caters elementary and high school students. For the past three years, I’ve been teaching grade six and first year high school students with much enjoyment and gratitude. What I like most in the institution is they offer a unique kind of learning most especially on the subject, History. You would really feel the subject because they allow you to explore it on your own. I’m a science teacher here, and lately they offered me to try teaching History subject to the students. It was indeed a challenge because I am teaching completely opposite subjects. What we did for the students to really remember their History subject is, we bring them to the exact places where it occurred. Since most of my pupils are minors, we need to ask permission from their parents and secure parental authorization travel agreements. Parents would also be given a chance to come with us on the field trips so they could refresh their memories on some of the Historic events in our country. Through this type of learning, the students would not only retain information on what they have witnessed but also enjoy the experience.
