To shoehorn the V8 into the Tasmin’s backbone chassis, the cradle had to be widened at the front. Even then, there was insufficient clearance for proper Vitesse exhaust manifolds, so power-sapping Land Rover ones were used on the prototypes (and on our first test car, of which more later], until special gas-flowed fabrications were developed to release maximum output.

My parents are quite a comical couple, so every time I bring up the muscle car my mother forced my dad to sell, they always get into this hilarious argument about it. He owned a Camaro that did not have a very big backseat so of course my mother naturally told him it was time to get a new car, one that was more suitable for a growing family. My dad didn’t want to part with his beloved car, and it took her about a year to finally get him to trade it in. He of course likes to always go on and on how he sacrificed his car for his family and how he would still have it today. My mom then likes to shoot back at him how he would have sold it at some point anyways, and she says 100% positive he would not own it anymore. He of course begrudgingly agrees with her, because the simple fact is she is right, and we all know it.

The car that I have always wanted to restore by myself is the 69 chevelle, because I don’t think there was another muscle car made like it. This car was made back before the government started to regulate emissions from cars, so this was one of the last true muscle cars that was ever manufactured. The problem with restoring a car like this, is that the parts are not easy to find, and they are quite expensive as well. However, I am not going to let that stand in my way, as I have been saving up for the last five years.
