I run a restaurant and I have to be very particular about cleanliness. In order to keep these yucky cockroaches away I call pesters for fumigation. This is done on a regular basis, I never got any complaint from my customers, and they prefer to come to my restaurant because provide them tasty, hygienic food and a very clean environment as well; getting rid of gophers for good. I recommend my fellow restaurant owners to schedule regular fumigation of they want to keep their restaurant clean. In my opinion, people do prefer to go to the restaurant which offers tasty food but if the environment is not clean then people would not come. I just have to give one call to the representative of the pest control company whenever I want as now I am their regular customer so I also get discount. This is how cockroaches stay away from restaurant and my customers stay close to my restaurant.
