More than once, our child may show good deeds – simple actions which we as parents should show appreciation. Little things like this can be remembered by your child until he/she gets old. Thus, in my opinion – and I think you would agree – it is good to give him something in return. It doesn’t have to be a big and expensive gift. A simple toy or a star badge you made yourself is good enough. I make it a point that whatever I give to my boy should be – First, Appreciated and Second, he should learn something from it. By that, I suggest you give your child a kids tool belt as a sign of reward. Not only would he be ecstatic on seeing this new toy but also will learn from it.
